People We Adore: Jaclyn Carmen

A: Hi! I’m Jaclyn Carmen, and I’m the founder of Jaclyn Carmen Creative, a personal brand that blends Art & Fashion, Astrology, and Energy Healing. After 15 years in the corporate world, I realized life is too short not to do what lights you up. My mission with Jaclyn Carmen Creative is to inspire and help others reconnect with what lights them up, through the creative & healing arts.

Through Astrology, I help people understand the energetic currents in their lives, and through Ahai® Energy Healing, I guide them to release what’s blocking their joy. I truly believe that when we prioritize what makes us feel alive, it ripples out and positively impacts everyone around us. My goal is to make creativity, healing, and self-care accessible, so that more people can live a life that feels balanced, empowered, and deeply fulfilling.

A: My superpower is transformation, courage & alchemy—the ability to turn fear and challenges into growth. One moment that stands out is when I lost nearly everything, and instead of letting fear control me, I regrouped, invested in myself, and my intuition. On the other side, I became grounded, confident, and joyful, able to face any obstacle with clarity and courage. That experience taught me that fear is often a doorway to opportunity, and walking through it can reveal your most authentic, powerful self.

A: My rituals for self care are grounding practices like: walks, yoga, alone time, & Ahai® Energy Work. Nature walks and being by the beach are my favorite. In my alone time, I connect with myself through Ahai® Energy Work, meditation, journaling, or just sitting in silence. Reflecting has been a powerful tool for me. I ask myself, “what is this situation trying to show me?” Reflection helps me release tension, feeling stuck, and instead I gain clarity. These practices leave me feeling empowered, aligned, and fully able to show up in all areas of my life.

A: I align with the Heart Chakra since it is so powerful & magnetic. I’ve been on a journey with opening the heart for my entire life. I had a closed heart chakra, (& quite literally - high cholesterol) didn’t feel comfortable feeling emotions, thought they were a distraction. I loved logic! Logic can only get you so far. The intuition lives in the body and the heart. From a scientific perspective the heart’s electromagnetic field is at least 100x stronger than the brain, showing its power. Now I lead with my heart and I’ve never been more confident, intuitive, & happier!
