Sacral Chakra Activation: What to Expect at a Feel & Glow® Event

March is the month we stop managing ourselves and start feeling ourselves again.
After the deep stabilizing work of January and February — grounding into the body, building safety in the nervous system, coming home to the root — March asks something different of us. It asks us to soften. To move. To feel juicy and alive again. That's why this month's theme across the Vibe & Glow™ series is Emotion. And it's why our next event is called exactly what it is: Feel & Glow®.
On Saturday, March 21st, 60 women gathered on the rooftop of UMA House in Miami Beach and did exactly that.
Feel & Glow® is the Sacral Chakra chapter of our chakra series — a 4-hour immersive experience that uses yoga, somatic breathwork, intuitive dance, scent, and ceremony to awaken your emotional flow, your creativity, and your capacity for pleasure. If you came to Ground & Glow® in February, you know what it feels like to walk into a room and immediately sense that something real is about to happen. Feel & Glow® is the next movement in that arc.
Here's what to expect — and what happened when we got there.

First, a Little on Why the Sacral Chakra Matters Right Now
The Sacral Chakra — Svadhisthana, your second energy center — is the seat of flow, sensation, creativity, and emotional responsiveness. It lives in the lower belly, between the hips. It governs how you relate to pleasure, how you move through emotion, and whether you feel permission to want things.
When it's balanced, life feels rich. You feel emotionally fluid. You're creative without forcing it. You enjoy things — your food, your body, your relationships — without guilt or numbing. You respond rather than react.
When it's blocked or out of balance, you might feel creatively stuck, emotionally flat or overwhelmed, disconnected from desire, or chronically in your head. You override sensation. You stop playing.
Most of us have been taught — implicitly and explicitly — to suppress this center. To be productive instead of pleasurable. To manage instead of feel. To be contained instead of creative.
Feel & Glow® is the antidote to all of that.
And here's what makes this different from the wellness content you scroll past every day: this isn't about talking about it. It's about moving through it in a room full of people who are doing the same thing. On March 21st, that room held 60 women on a Miami Beach rooftop — and what moved through it was real.

What Happens at Feel & Glow®
This is not a regular yoga class. It's not a dance class. It's not a workshop. It's all of those things and none of them — because the container is something else entirely.
The experience is built around three core movements. Here's what each one looks like — and what it felt like when it actually happened.
Yoga + Scent: The Opening
The session anchors with movement and aromatherapy — and the order matters. At Feel & Glow®, the essential oils came first.
Before a single instruction was given, guests applied Auratherapy's Chakra 2 Creativity Roll-On — blood orange, ylang ylang, and jasmine — warm, round, and immediately sensory. The nervous system responds to scent faster than it responds to words. Which means that before you've had a chance to think your way out of what you're feeling, your body has already begun to open.
What followed on March 21st was a somatic stretch and breathwork sequence led by @mari.in.the.flow — moving through the hips, the lower belly, the places where we hold what we haven't yet let ourselves feel. Guests ended lying down, eye masks on, silent headphones in, in the kind of quiet that only comes when the body has been given permission to stop bracing.
This is where the Sacral Chakra work begins: not in the mind, not in the explanation, but in the body that has already started to soften before it knew it was safe to.

Sound Healing + Meditation: The Deepening
Led by @sonasanctuary, sound healing moved through the room as the Miami sky turned.
Bowls sang over 60 women in various states of surrender — many of them deeply still for the first time in weeks. The final five minutes wove in the Orange Moodzee essential oil and a meditation anchored in the energy of the Spring Equinox: the return of light, the permission to begin again, the body as the place where all of it lands.
When sound healing closed, guests were invited to roll up their mats and set them aside. The floor opened. What came next was different.
Drum Circle: The Turn
Led by @fernandosubirats, this was the turning point of the evening for most people in the room — and it's the part that's hardest to describe until you've been in it.
There is something about rhythm — about sound made with your hands, your body, in a circle with other people — that bypasses every defense the mind puts up. By the time the drum circle started on March 21st, the room was already warm, already open. The feather fans came out. The laughter started. People were surprised by themselves — by how quickly joy came, how naturally the body moved when given something to respond to.
Expect to be surprised by yourself here. Expect it to feel like play. Expect it to feel like something you didn't know you needed.

Intuitive Dance: The Release
Led by @m.yang.music
And before anyone closes this tab — this is not a performance. Nobody is watching you. Nobody is grading your movement.
Intuitive dance means your body leads and you follow. Sensation is the only choreographer. Marilyn guided the room through movement before letting it go fully free — and guests danced in the way people dance when they've forgotten they're being watched: fully, joyfully, with their whole bodies.
Mocktails by @findyourfeelz circulated. The Miami sky did what Miami skies do. And 60 women moved through something together that most of them hadn't made space for in a very long time.
This is where people tend to be surprised by themselves — by what comes up, what releases, what starts to feel like joy again. On March 21st, joy came quickly. And it stayed.
Ceremony & Community: The Close
Because the Sacral Chakra doesn't just govern creativity and desire — it governs connection. The way we relate to each other. The way we feel seen.
At Feel & Glow®, ceremony and community are woven throughout the entire evening — from the Conscious Connections activity in the courtyard (where angel number cards became the doorway into real conversations between strangers who felt like anything but) to the closing gratitude circle on the rooftop.
Rituals practiced alone are powerful. Rituals practiced in community are transformational. You leave with more than a memory. You leave with a body that knows something new.
The Scent of This Event: Orange + Creativity
At every Vibe & Glow® event in the chakra series, the scent is intentional. Not decorative. Not ambient. Therapeutic.
For the Sacral Chakra, we work with citrus and creativity — the energetic signature of the second chakra. Our Chakra 2 Creativity blend combines blood orange, ylang ylang, and jasmine — warm, round, and immediately sensory. It bypasses the analytical mind and speaks directly to the body. It says: it's safe to feel good right now.
Every guest leaves with a Creativity + Orange Moodzee roll-on — so the activation doesn't stop when the event does. You carry it home. You use it when you need to move through something. When you need to create. When you need to come back to your body.
Want to go deeper with the full Sacral Chakra collection? Everything from the Chakra 2 Aroma Perfume to the Sunstone Gemstone Candle is in the shop.
What Feel & Glow® Is NOT
We want to be clear, because this matters:
Feel & Glow® is not sexualized. It is not performative. It is not emotional release for its own sake. You will not be asked to share anything you don't want to share. You will not be put on the spot. You will not be pushed.
This event is about you feeling alive in your own body — on your own terms, at your own pace, in a room full of people doing the same. Safe. Intentional. Real.
On March 21st, that's exactly what it was.
What You'll Walk Away With
More than a gift bag — though the gift bag is genuinely something special. At Feel & Glow®, guests left with over $300 worth of product including contributions from Vital Proteins, Beekeeper's Naturals, Nicole Buffett Art, Down Etc., VIO2, NOBS, and Kind Patches — plus the Creativity + Orange Moodzee roll-on to carry the work home.
But more than any of that: every guest left with a nervous system that had practiced something. Feeling without shutting down. Moving without performing. Being in a room full of people and actually feeling seen.
The mantra of this event is: "I am deeply abundant, creative, and resourceful."
By the time you leave, that won't just be words. It'll be something your body has experienced.
That's how the Vibe & Glow® series works. Eleven events. Each one building on the last. Each one teaching the body something new — not through information, but through lived experience, repeated in community.

Frequently Asked Questions.
What is a sacral chakra activation event?
A sacral chakra activation event is a guided wellness experience designed to awaken the body's second energy center — Svadhisthana — through somatic practices like breathwork, yoga, movement, sound, and ceremony. Unlike a traditional yoga class or workshop, these events create a full-body, multi-modality container that targets emotional fluidity, creativity, and the capacity for pleasure. Feel & Glow® by Vibe & Glow™ is one example: a 4-hour immersive that moves through somatic yoga, sound healing, drum circle, and intuitive dance in community.
What does it feel like to have your sacral chakra activated?
When the sacral chakra is activated, many people report a shift from feeling emotionally flat, creatively blocked, or stuck in their head — to feeling more fluid, present, and alive in their body. During sacral chakra activation practices, this often shows up as unexpected joy during movement, emotional release during breathwork, or a sense of creative energy returning. It typically feels more like remembering something than learning something new.
What is somatic breathwork and how does it help with emotional healing?
Somatic breathwork is a breath-based practice that works directly with the body's nervous system to release stored tension, emotion, and trauma. Unlike talk therapy, it bypasses the analytical mind and works through sensation — using breath patterns to shift the physiological state and allow what's been suppressed to surface and move through. In the context of sacral chakra healing, somatic breathwork focuses on the lower belly and hips, where emotional holding is most common.
What should I expect at an intuitive dance event for the first time?
At an intuitive dance event, you are guided to let your body lead movement rather than following set choreography. A facilitator typically opens the space with a warm-up sequence, then progressively releases structure until participants are moving freely. First-time attendees often arrive nervous about being watched or "doing it wrong" — and consistently report being surprised by how quickly the self-consciousness drops once the music and energy of the room takes over. No dance experience or skill is required.
How does aromatherapy support chakra healing?
Aromatherapy supports chakra healing by engaging the olfactory system — the only sensory pathway with a direct neural link to the limbic system, which governs emotion and memory. Scent bypasses rational thought and acts on the body before the mind can analyze or resist. Each chakra has corresponding essential oils: the sacral chakra is associated with citrus (blood orange), floral (ylang ylang, jasmine), and warm, round scents that signal safety and sensory openness to the nervous system.
What is the difference between the root chakra and the sacral chakra?
The root chakra (Muladhara) is the first energy center, located at the base of the spine, governing safety, survival, and physical grounding. The sacral chakra (Svadhisthana) is the second center, located in the lower belly, governing emotion, creativity, pleasure, and flow. In the Vibe & Glow™ series, Ground & Glow® addresses the root chakra (building safety and stability), while Feel & Glow® addresses the sacral chakra (awakening emotional fluidity and creative aliveness). The sequence is intentional: you ground first, then you allow yourself to feel.
Can I attend Feel & Glow® if I've never been to a chakra event before?
Yes. Feel & Glow® is designed to be accessible to first-time attendees as well as those who have been doing chakra or somatic work for years. No prior knowledge of chakras, yoga, or energy healing is required. The facilitators guide the experience from the ground up. That said, attending Ground & Glow® (the Root Chakra event) before Feel & Glow® deepens the arc — because the nervous system work done in the first event creates a foundation that the second event builds on.
What is the Spring Equinox significance in sacral chakra work?
The Spring Equinox marks the return of light and the beginning of a new seasonal cycle — themes that align directly with sacral chakra energy: creativity, renewal, the permission to begin again. In the Feel & Glow® experience held on March 21st, the equinox was woven into the closing meditation as a symbolic anchor — the body as the place where seasonal transitions land, and emotional fluidity as the natural human response to the return of warmth and light. Many traditions use the equinox as a moment of emotional reset and creative intention-setting.
What is the Vibe & Glow® chakra series?
The Vibe & Glow® chakra series is an eleven-event immersive wellness series in which each event corresponds to one of the body's energy centers. Each event uses a unique combination of movement, sound, scent, ceremony, and community to activate that chakra's specific qualities — and each one builds on the nervous system and somatic work of the event before it. The series is designed so that attending across multiple events creates a cumulative, progressive experience of embodied self-knowledge. Individual events are also open to first-time attendees.
How long does a sacral chakra activation last after an event?
The activation initiated at an event like Feel & Glow® continues in the body well after the experience ends — particularly when supported by daily practice. Vibe & Glow™ sends every guest home with the Creativity + Orange Moodzee roll-on so the scent-based nervous system cue is available throughout the week. The body retains the somatic learning — the felt experience of moving through emotion without shutting down — and this becomes a reference point the nervous system can return to. Integration practices like journaling, movement, and continued breathwork extend and deepen the shift.
