I know this because I had to learn it the hard way.
In my forties, after years in the New York fashion industry — walking through department store perfume sections, breathing in clouds of synthetic fragrance I never consented to — my body started breaking down. Migraines. Seizures. A gallbladder condition so rare I was featured on an episode of Mystery Diagnosis. I had always eaten well and taken care of myself, but I had never learned to manage stress. My nervous system was running on empty, and it finally said enough.
The first thing my doctor told me: stop wearing perfume.
That sentence sent me down a path I've never come back from. When I started researching what was actually inside conventional fragrance — the word "fragrance" on a label can hide more than 100 toxic chemicals, with no disclosure required and no federal regulation — my relationship with scent changed forever. But what replaced it wasn't an absence. It was something far more powerful.
Pure essential oils work completely differently from synthetic fragrance. They don't stimulate the nervous system — they support it. They communicate directly with the limbic brain: the system responsible for emotion, stress response, memory, and regulation. They evolved alongside human biology. One creates a reaction. The other creates a response.
My body knew the difference long before I had the science to explain it.
That discovery became Auratherapy. And Auratherapy — the formulas, the aura readings, the philosophy, the community — became Vibe & Glow®.
What Is Vibe & Glow®?
Vibe & Glow® is the living expression of the Auratherapy mission.
It's a yearlong immersive wellness event series — 3 more experiences across 2026 — designed to walk Miami's community through the full arc of nervous system transformation: from safety and regulation, through coherence and alignment, into expansion and sustained capacity, and finally into integration.
This is not a series of disconnected wellness pop-ups. It's a progression. A curriculum expressed through movement, breathwork, sound, aromatherapy, aura readings, and intentional community. Each event builds on the last. The room deepens every time.
Every event is produced in partnership with Vida Boa Event Agency — led by Catherine Defreitas, a Miami-based event producer known for gatherings that are intentional, elevated, and emotionally resonant. This collaboration was born from a shared belief: that transformation happens when environment, intention, and embodiment meet.

Beyond Physical Wellness
Most wellness events focus on the physical — movement, nutrition, recovery. While those are essential, they're incomplete on their own.
True wellness also requires attention to the mental and energetic layers that shape how we feel, think, and relate to ourselves and others. Stress, overwhelm, and emotional load live in the nervous system. Without addressing those layers, even the most beautifully produced wellness experiences fall short.

Using Auratherapy's aura photography technology, each guest receives a personalized reading of their energy field — their colors, their chakra health, their aura personality. It's grounding. It's personal. It translates the invisible into something tangible and actionable. For many guests, it's the most meaningful experience they have all year.
If capacity fills before every guest is seen, they receive a personal invitation to visit the Auratherapy studio in Miami for their complimentary reading — converting event guests into store visitors and creating a direct pipeline from the event into our flagship in-person experience.

We use aromatherapy because the nervous system does not change through ideas alone. It changes through sensory input. Essential oils bypass thought and story and speak directly to the body. Each event features a specific Auratherapy product line — not as a sponsor placement, but woven into the ritual itself:
